SVP’s mission is to build and nurture an equity-driven community of philanthropists and nonprofit organizations committed to disrupting the structures that enable intergenerational poverty. Partners agree to make a meaningful contribution of at least $5,000 per year (tax-deductible) or $2,500 for individuals 35 and under. 

Partner financial contributions are unrestricted and used towards multi-year grants to investees and SVP programs and operations, which include capacity building for investees and partner education. 

To ensure the sustainability and growth of SVP Philadelphia, and to align with our grant commitments to investees, we ask Partners to consider making a multi-year commitment but are happy to work with you on what feels right for you. 

Your financial contribution for year one is due at the time of joining the partnership.

Partners will be asked to renew their commitment and remit payment annually on or before the anniversary of joining SVP.

Checks can be made payable to United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey with "SVP Philadelphia" on the memo line and mailed to:
